Hello there.

Thanks for stopping by my Medium page. Since there's a lot to read on the internet, and you are here, I have to assume you have questions. That's understandable. In the absence of any real self-effacing way to do this, here are a few things you may want to know about me.

I have my Master's in Counseling from Westminster Theological Seminary, and I've spent the last decade working in children's behavioral health on hospital inpatient units for suicidal and homicidal kids. I am privileged to do the work I do and work alongside an incredible team of people to support our patients. I live in New Jersey with my amazing wife and our two beautiful daughters/Tasmanian devils. I'm passionate about Eagles football and have serious opinions about sandwiches.

This page is home to my thoughts on faith, culture and everything in between, hopefully with a unique spin and flavor to it. In addition to your regularly-scheduled topical essays, I hope to make some of the therapeutic material I've developed for our programs available here to any who may find it helpful. Do not be alarmed of any sudden segues into the drama of NBA basketball, the inner workings of the DC/Marvel universes, and deep-cut references to Homestar Runner. Those are part of the experience.

Other fun things to know:

- I once went bungee jumping over the river used to film the Gates of Argonath in the Lord of the Rings movies. (IYKYK)

- I once went an entire week without tripping over my own feet while in the company of others. That was some week.
